Gardens, Wisconsin & Peach Fuzz

Not enough news you say?
Well, as a wise man once said, I fart in your general direction.

Fine. News it is.

Nate is now 6 months old !
He has gone from a dark haired little peanut
to a peach-fuzz topped blondie (who is already dressing like dad) with his first tooth (which isn't exactly visible, but is sharp as a razor). And from a boy that would only sleep on our chests... to a boy that will only sleep in our arms or our bed.

He has discovered Bud, and has quite a lot of fun poking him in the soft parts. And, as always, Bud is a good sport.

Nate's (Nathan to his dad) favorite party trick is peeing and pooing in the toilet, despite what developmental experts might say.

He's taken to oatmeal, green beans, sweet potato - but most definitely not to avocado. Apparently he has his dad's, uh, sensitive palate.

What else? Still not a big guy - 15 lbs 10 oz - which is the 25th percentile for his age. 26 1/2 inches - which is 50th percentile.

He continues to prefer to stand or jump -- sitting or lying just isn't as fun -- though he can almost sit up by himself, and can roll over when he feels like it.

Sean is busily finishing our lovely kitchen, when I'm not too crabby to let him. And we're considering moving to Wisconsin, because what could be more like L.A. than Milwaukee?

And we're starting to have a lovely garden thanks to grandma and grandpa, who routinely make life much more livable.
